Tap Tamers Privacy Policy
Last updated November 5, 2026
In short: the Tap Tamers game doesn't collect, sell or share your personal data, and it doesn't connect to the internet while you play. We only receive your email address if you choose to contact us or join our test.
This policy covers the Tap Tamers game for Android and the taptamers.com website, both made by Set and Match Games ("we").
What the game collects
Nothing. The game does not collect or send us any personal or sensitive data. It has no accounts, and it doesn't use your contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone. The current version has no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases.
What is stored on your phone
Your saved game and your options, such as volume settings, are stored on your device. We can't see, change or restore them.
If backup is turned on for your device, Android may copy this data to a private area of your own Google account and restore it when you reinstall the game or set up a new phone. Google handles these backups, and we can't access them.
Who your data is shared with
The game doesn't send us any data, so we have none from it to share. We don't sell personal data.
Google Play
You download the game through Google Play, and Google handles that download and any data it collects as part of it under Google's Privacy Policy. We may see summary statistics that Google Play provides to developers, such as install counts and crash reports. These don't identify you to us.
If you contact us or join the test
If you email us, or join our tester group, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply to you and to run the test. We don't sell it or share it for marketing, and we delete it when asked. Our email passes through Cloudflare and Google, and the tester group runs on Google Groups. If you join a community space such as a Discord server, that service's own privacy policy applies.
How long data is kept, and how to delete it
- Your saved game stays on your phone until you remove it. In the game, go to Options and choose Clear Save Data, or uninstall the game.
- Android backups may remain in your Google account after you uninstall, and a save can come back if you reinstall. You can manage them in your Android or Google account backup settings.
- Emails to us and tester sign-ups are kept only as long as we need them to help you or run the test. You can leave the tester group at any time, or ask us at the address below to delete them.
Children
Tap Tamers is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under a higher age where local law sets one. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
This website
taptamers.com has no accounts or forms, and we don't add analytics, advertising or tracking cookies to it. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic connection information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Trailer videos are hosted by YouTube. The site doesn't connect to YouTube until you press play on a video. After that, Google handles your viewing data under its privacy policy.
Links
The game's Privacy Policy button opens this page in your phone's web browser. The website's sign-up button takes you to Google Groups. Other websites have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may add features later, such as ads, cloud saves or in-app purchases, that handle data differently. If so, we'll update this page and the game's Google Play data safety information before those features arrive, and change the date at the top. For major changes to how data is handled, we'll also tell you in the game before they take effect.
